USS Wisconsin - January 17
Well today was another busy Saturday. Grandpa Torres came down from Washington DC and we went to the Nauticus Museum. the USS Wisconsin was a battle ship that is associated with the museum and we go to tour the ship. The kids enjoyed the museum and ran from one place to the next. This was one of the things that was on our checklist. We also went to basketball with McKay, taught a lesson with the missionaries and went on a date to the movies. I had some thoughts about getting through the trials of life. It seems that no matter where I go there is always people with difficulties going on in their life. No one is immune to personal trials of one kind or another. It coule be family trouble, person deamons, financial struggles or health difficulties. But no matter what form the difficulty is we all have to deal with them. I've seen that trials and difficulties can be overcome with God's help. The word of God or the scriptures give us help and hope and perspective. Life is hard, but I believe it is even harder without faith and God. So wherever you are, no matter what things you may be experiencing take heart, have faith, read the word of God and trust that things will work out. God may not take away the trial but He will give you strength to take on the challenges you face.
