My new years resolution is to take and share one photo a day. It is something that I haven't every tried before and I have several reasons for doing it.
First, it helps me enjoy my photography hobby. Second, it should help me write journal entries. Third, helps my family know what we are doing. Fourth, it should help me remember what God has done for me in my life.
It all kind of stems from the talk by Elder Eyring "O, Remember, Remember"
In it he said this: "My point is to urge you to find ways to recognize and remember God’s kindness. It will build our testimonies."
So this brings me to my picture. On new years day I had to go into work for a few hours because I was the on call doctor. Kennedy the night before was sad because I told her I had to work. She asked if I could send her a picture of what I was doing. This is the picture.
I know a "selfie" isn't the best way to start a 365 day streak of photos, but it means something to me. I means that I have a daughter that loves me. That she wants me to be home with her and spend time with her. It means that I have a family to go home to. It means that I am going to be thanking Heavenly Father for the kindness in giving me such wonderful blessings.
