Okinawa is made up of a bunch of different islands (similar to Hawaii). There are some that are close enough to drive to and are connected by bridges. Others you take a fairy and others you have to fly to. One of the things that we are looking forward to the most is exploring all of these islands! We are lucky to be in this part of the world and we are going to try and ake the most of it. Today we drove to one of the closer islands and went to the beach. White sands, blue warm water. Perfect day! Our shade umbrella flew away 2 different times, but besides that it was pretty good. We also needed some food after spending most of the afternoon in the sun. We just drove around until we ran into something. Well we saw this sign that said Cafe Yamashita. We pulled over and went right in. It was actually a persons house that turned the upstairs into a bakery. She cooks mostly bread. You can see all the other pictures here on my blog: . But we ordered a handmade pizza and a different assortment of bakes goods. Super yummy! She was super friendly. Probably in her 60s. Picked Hayden right up. She took our picture posted on her facebook page. It was a fun experience and we had a great Saturday!
