Here is a collection of photos from around Okinawa Japan. I hope you like them!
We have been to Senaga Island several times and every time we are enchanted by the quant shops and little restraunts. I tried to capture the fairytale atmosphere but it was difficult to capture.
The Hammack Cafe
The hammack cafe found on Senaga Island right next to the airport is an amazing place to kick back, watch the sunset and enjoy some good food.
Sand Dollar Beach
We went out to Sand Dollar Beach as a family and collected our share of sand dollars!
Cape Arasaki Sunset
This amazing location was one that I just recently visited. It can be very dangerous if you don't know and understand the tide schedule. But I loved standing along the coast and watching the water crash. the sunset made it that much more spectacular.
On Top of American Village
I climbed up as high as I could at American Village after a photoshoot to get this shot. Itwould be a cool view from here at sunset. But I liked the night time photo with the lights on. I also love the graffiti along the walls.
Maeda Flatts Window
I only had 15 minutes of good light as I went out exploring this beatuiful part of Okinawa. I love the little window that I was able to put myself in and frame some great tide pools and rocks that are so common here in Okinawa.
Cape Maeda at Low Tide
What a great place! Perhaps one of the most visited beaches for snorkeling and diving in all of Okinawa. This place is fantastic to see all sorts of sea creatures. I set up to take photos for an hour and this was the first photo that I took of the evening and it is my favorite.
Along Tropical Beach's Path
Waves are Crawling
I put my camera basically in the sand in order to capture the fun little waves that crept along the shore. This i perhaps one of our favorite beaches in all of Okinawa. It is close to home, easy to get to and lots of great sand! The sunset was marvelous!
Sunrise Down the Stairs
Every morning that I get to go chase the sunrise I find the path down to the beach almost as appealing as the actual beach. For a typical Okinawa beach they are abandoned with a broken down path. It makes for a great photo.
Classic Okinawa Beach
Along the southern coast of Okinawa there are so many amazing places. This is a very typical beach with cliffs and rocks and tide pools. So many things to explore.
